If you don't care about weight, then aluminum alloy is good. If you care about weight, then aviation carbon fiber is the best choice.
About handle type and material
Currently, young people use straight grip handles for trekking poles, and T-shaped handles are rarely popular among young people. About materials, there are foam, rubber, cork, EVA, etc. Although the cork handle is durable, Dong Ge doesn't like it very much, because it is very uncomfortable after the palm sweats. I am using the EVA handle now, which is not only non-slip, but also sweat-absorbent, and the use experience is also very good.
